AdSense Readiness
Everything Google's reviewers check that a machine can verify: policy pages, content volume, navigation, unfinished sections. Run it before you apply — rejections cool your domain for weeks.
AdSense FAQ
How many pages do I need before applying to AdSense?
There is no official number, but successful applications typically have 15–30 substantial pages (500+ words each) of original content, plus privacy policy, about and contact pages. Thin or placeholder content is the most common rejection reason.
Does my domain need to be a certain age?
Globally there is no hard age rule, though some countries (e.g. India, Pakistan) require 6 months of ownership. In practice, brand-new domains with little content are frequently rejected for 'low value content' rather than age itself.
Do I need traffic to get approved?
AdSense has no minimum traffic requirement for approval. But approval with no traffic earns nothing — build distribution in parallel, and consider whether affiliate revenue fits a low-traffic site better.
What is ads.txt and when do I need it?
ads.txt is a root-level text file listing who may sell your ad inventory. You add your Google publisher line after approval. Missing ads.txt doesn't block approval but reduces revenue once ads run.
